VIOLIN LESSONS
All Ages & Skill Levels Welcome!
String Lessons
Violin, viola, cello and double bass
Our string teachers teach classical and pop styles of music. Beginner students can expect to work on technique, bowing, sight reading, and song material. Our teachers understand that every student is an individual, with personal musical needs and goals. We make it a priority to tailor how we teach and what we teach to your individual needs.
Your teacher will ask you about your favorite types of music and will help you set goals to accomplish whatever musical aspirations you have. Together, you will develop a plan to achieve your goals! We love beginners, so even if you don’t know where to begin, we can help!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN TO PLAY VIOLIN?
There is no definitive answer to how long it takes to learn to play the violin. With regular practice, a basic level of playing can be achieved in a few months. Most of our students take lessons on a long-term basis because they enjoy continually improving and find the lessons enjoyable.
I DON’T HAVE ANY MUSICAL BACKGROUND OR ABILITY. CAN I STILL HELP MY CHILD PRACTICE?
Yes. Even without a musical background, you can assist your child by asking the teacher for practice advice. Simply monitoring that your child is doing their exercises a certain number of times per day can help them progress. Parents can also sit in on their child's music lessons to understand how a song should sound or how the student should be positioning their hands and using the bow.
