Our instructors at Briggs Music Studio are highly qualified, with extensive teaching experience and a passion for education. Being a musician doesn't automatically make someone a good teacher—that's why we carefully select instructors who excel in mentoring our students. We search the entire area for top teachers who align with our studio's high standards. Many of our instructors have toured nationally and internationally and bring years of professional performance and teaching experience to their lessons. In addition to their qualifications, our teachers have warm personalities, are very friendly, and strive to build personal connections with each student and their parents. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO LEARN TO PLAY MUSIC?

There is no definitive answer to how long it takes to learn to play music. With regular practice, a basic level of playing can be achieved in a few months. Most of our students take lessons on a long-term basis because they enjoy continually improving and find the lessons enjoyable.

 

I DON’T HAVE ANY MUSICAL BACKGROUND OR ABILITY. CAN I STILL HELP MY CHILD PRACTICE?

Yes. Even without a musical background, you can assist your child by asking the teacher for practice advice. Simply monitoring that your child is doing their exercises a certain number of times per day can help them progress. Parents can also sit in on their child's music lessons to understand how a piece should sound or how the student should be using their instrument or voice correctly.
