Briggs Music Studio is the most unique music studio in the East Valley, having taught hundreds of students of all ages, coming from Queen Creek, San Tan Valley, Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Coolidge, and Florence.

Our BMS teachers are highly qualified professionals with a real passion for developing individuals, tailoring their teaching approach to the appropriate learning style of the individual. We currently offer instruction in the following areas: piano, guitar, violin, ukulele and more; all taught under one roof, or online.

In Loving Memory of Juan Cordova
At the age of 71, Juan Cordova made a decision that would define his later years—he purchased a piano and set out to learn to play it. His journey led him to Briggs Music Studio, where he drove 35 minutes each week for piano lessons with Bradley Briggs. Despite being a true Hispanic cowboy, with a past full of bull riding and bucking horses in rodeos, Juan's passion for music was unwavering.
Juan’s commitment to learning was evident, even after facing extensive back issues and surgery that eventually forced him to stop his regular piano lessons. He never let these challenges deter him from his love for music. Monthly phone lessons with Mr. Briggs kept his passion alive, and their bond grew stronger with each conversation.
​Juan passed away during a trip to visit family in Florida a couple of years ago, leaving behind a legacy of determination, resilience, and a deep love for life. His friendship with Mr. Briggs extended beyond the piano, rooted in their shared love for ranch life. Their visits to Juan's ranch east of Coolidge were filled with stories and laughter, reflecting the essence of Juan’s spirit—a man who embraced life fully, whether on the rodeo circuit or at the piano.
Juan Cordova’s life was a testament to the pursuit of passion at any age. His memory lives on in the music he loved, the friendships he cherished, and the inspiration he continues to provide to those who knew him.

4. Variety!
We offer a variety of music lessons at BMS. Students have the option of being enrolled with multiple teachers, learning different instruments simultaneously, if they desire. Our varied offerings make it convenient for families of multiple musical interests to receive instruction, all from one place! We also offer online lessons!
5. Waiting Area!
We have a spacious waiting area with comfortable chairs, free WiFi, a private bathroom, and access to electrical outlets.
6. Efficient Communication!
Our teachers are quick to return calls, texts and emails, usually within 24 hours. We strive to answer questions and serve our students to the best of our ability!
7. Recitals!
Every February our students have the option of performing in our free, all inclusive music revitals. Students are not required to perform, but most choose to.

Briggs Music Studio is conveniently located in Queen Creek, AZ, close to several main streets. There are even several major shopping plazas within a 5 minute drive! Our address is 25216 S. 194th Street, approximately 1 mile east of Power Rd.
9. Fee!
Every student is on a month-to-month basis, and we will not commit you to a long-term contract.
10. Scheduling!
At BMS, we strive to offer flexible scheduling, Monday through Saturday. Contact us for availability!
Julie Briggs
Studio Owner/Primary Piano Instructor
Julie has taught for over forty years, private lessons and groups of all ages and abilities in Arizona and Massachusetts. She attended Arizona State University and produced many recitals and musicals for children. She was also the recipient of numerous awards and twice Mesa Music Guild Scholarship winner.

Bradley Briggs
Bradley Briggs Studio Owner/Piano Instructor
Brad’s piano students absolutely love him! He has experience with numerous instruments besides piano, which include accordion and saxophone. Mr. Briggs focuses mainly on beginners, stressing the basics such as rhythm, note reading, and keyboard geography. He loves helping students to enhance their musical journey.
Ryan Giacinto
String Instructor

Ryan Giacinto graduated with an Associate’s in Music Education in 2023 and is currently studying for a Bachelor's in Music Learning & Teaching at Arizona State University. Although his primary instrument is the double bass, Ryan plays and teaches more than 25 string and woodwind instruments, not to mention conducting and composing.

Briggs Music Studio…. An oasis in the desert!One day, about two years ago, I was driving down Riggs road, exploring our new area… I saw a Sign for Briggs Music studio. It was my sons last name! Thinking, welll , since he has started showing interest in guitar, I’m gonna give them a call…… FF two years later, our son was accepted to The Berklee School of Music in Boston, to the jazz piano program, at the age of 16!We had no idea our son could even play piano, but under the stellar, professional and gentle, instruction he received from Briggs Music Studio, a Piano prodigy was discovered and cultivated!
